Successfully own and operate my own studio specializing in: conceptual development, art direction, logo, web design and branding
for Entertainment, Mass Media and Communication Clients

Also, provide copywriting, voiceover, original music and supervision services to clients when requested

WE tv 2014-2015

ASSOCIATE DESIGN DIRECTOR

Conceptualized, developed & executed key art pitches for the network shows which included the development of shot lists for
the photoshoots as well as tagline-copy writing.

Oversaw and managed outside agencies in their execution of key-art & digital creative.

Collaborated on the successful re-brand and re-launch campaign.

Handled the agency overflow by rolling my sleeves up and designing and developing advertising, POP, event signage, out-of-home,
bus clings, phone kiosks, subway postings, wild postings), online assets and promotional materials for network programs such as 
The Divide, Marriage Boot Camp Reality Stars, Tamar & Vince, Braxton Family Values, and Kendra on Top.

 

MTV 2013-2014

FREELANCE DESIGNER

Assisted in the design and rollout of the MTV digital DTO rebranding. 

Designed and built banner campaigns for new programming and new seasons of existing shows. 

Designed and built banners for Video Music Awards' Barclay Center displays as well as email blasts and printed collateral.

A&E NETWORKS  2007-2009

ART DIRECTOR    

Conceptualized, developed and executed key art pitches for the network 

Collaborated on the successful re-brand and re-launch campaign of  “The History Channel”

Developed new logos for The History Channel’s sub-channels (Military History, History en Espanol, History International, etc.)

Designed and developed advertising, POP, event signage, out-of-home, (bus clings, phone kiosks, subway postings, wild postings),
online assets and promotional materials, including press kits, for network programs such as: The Cleaner, Hammertime, Ice Road Truckers, and Intervention

Created physical comps to help sell creative concepts to clients

Worked closely with production to ensure that the materials, print and finish were as specified 

Made sure the project came within or under budget

Designed and produced printed materials, branding elements, advertising, POP, and promotional materials

Collaborated with on-air creative team to achieve cohesive design and messaging across all media

 

VH1 NETWORK  2003-2005

Developed, art directed and executed concepts for network key art and tent-pole events; created and contributed to logo design, branding, advertising, POP, event signage, venue décor, set design and promo materials

Illustrated and executed designs for commercial apparel 

Responsible for the commission, negotiation, management and art direction of freelance talent (photographers and illustrators)

Oversaw and helped produce photo shoots

Managed team of junior designers, teamed with copywriters, oversaw production and aided in vendor/material sourcing

Gained extensive photo shoot experience through the commission, negotiation, budgeting and management of photographers, stylists and make-up artists for artist packaging and promotional shoots

Oversaw all phases of album and marketing campaign production by coordinating with production managers and vendors

Managed team of in-house graphic/production artists, imaging/retouching staff 

Designed album packaging, singles, promotional materials, advertising and POP for Sony Music recording artists and Sony Music corporate, from concept to completion
